Biblioteca della Moda has been created out of an extensive private archive. It's a place where fashion fans can view, buy or sell books, magazines, trend books, prints and catalogues dating from 1850 to the present day.
Over 45,000 titles collected over the years can be accessed by members at the new premises in Via Alessandria 8, near Porta Genova in Milan.
Biblioteca della Moda also puts on themed photograph exhibitions, featuring original images sourced from major international magazines from 1930 to today.
It is also often used as a unique venue for events, aperitifs, lunches, cocktails and presentations about fashion or targeting the fashion world, given that it is a recognised and much-admired location in the business with a mailing list of over 15,000 contacts in the fashion system.
Biblioteca della Moda is located inside a building that is also home to other fashion and design companies, such as Milano Fashion Media, Spazio YOUnique and the Italian Chamber of Fashion Buyers.
